I'm thinking "Mac Pro-lite." Smaller tower case, supporting only 1 burner drive (maybe even using a laptop-style burner... saves space), and room for 1, maybe 2 SATA drives at most. Just a single cpu, so a maximum of two cores. (standard Core 2 Duo or Extreme, not the Xeons like Mac Pro's have) PCI Express graphics slot, plus maybe a slot for 1 more PCI Express card (so you could pop some sort of fancy audio/vidcap board, or a RAID, or something else in there if you want). Wifi and Bluetooth of course. Basically, something for the people (like myself) where an iMac is not quite enough to meet their needs, but a Mac Pro is either way too powerful, or way too expensive. If Apple made something like this and released it for, say, $1500 or something, I'd totally buy one. Maybe two.
It is the new Mac G4 Cube (Which was between the G4 tower and the G4 iMacs) but it is like a Mac Mini which is in the cheese-grater of the Mac Pro design and it is in the encasing of the G4 Cube. I'd buy 100 of them..like I did the G4 Cube..I mean I bought 50..2? 1?!

Well, there is the "MacBook" and the "MacBook Pro." there is the 'IMac" and the "Mac Pro." So why not call this hypothetical machine just "Mac"?
