Congrats to Pat on the child. Why does he have to leave work then? Shouldn't he need to have work to support his family? Maybe they are leaving San Francisco. Too bad about DL.TV not having him on anymore and hopefully he will still do TWiT.

A Fond Farewell
• Yes, it's true... This was Patrick's last episode of DL.TV. He's got a baby coming in October, and he's moving on to a new gig. He'll be back, tho, as a guest on DL.TV and CrankyGeeks, and he wants to thank "the incredible crew that watches the show, Mr Callahan and Mr. Young at Ziff Davis for giving us the opportunity, all the folks at Ziff Davis that have contributed (Jim, Steve, Robyn, Michael, Chris, Denise, Bill, Stan, Dan, Sascha, Kyle, Lance, Neil... it's a long list!) and to Robert, Roger, Scott, Annaliza and Brooks, who'll be carrying the DL.TV torch forward. It's a bittersweet, 'cause this has been a lot of fun to put together."
ironically, I was watching the very first episode of DL.TV last night, before Robert was there, and it was an unannounced test pilot (Jim Louderbach, also formerly of Ziff Davis was the co-host) Hmm.. I must have sensed something was coming with that :) Best of luck to Patrick and we thank him for informing and entertaining us on DL.TV

Roger's humor is a bit dry but I get used to it. He's sort of like the Steven Wright of tech personalities, I guess.
