Is everyone excited about the final Harry Potter book? I'm looking forward to the last HP midnight release party tonight @ Borders.

I was excited about buying the book at midnight, but found out from a local Borders that they're only selling books to people who pre-ordered! But I heard someone else on Twitter say that his Borders guaranteed that if you got to the store before they closed that you would get a book. I don't know what to believe. I'm going to call a couple other bookstores around here to see if they require pre-orders...
Honestly, Jezlyn, I don't think people will have a problem finding the book. It's going to be sold everywhere, and I've never had a problem obtaining it before. But good luck!
Yes, I don't think I'll have an issue finding the book, but if all my local bookstores are requiring pre-orders, I won't be able to buy it tonight at midnight like I was planning on doing. It isn't a huge deal, just disappointing. I'm still holding out hope that some store around here will have them w/o pre-orders. :)
I might just have to forgo getting the book at midnight. Some work stuff came up, so I might have to log in from home and continue working on the stupid last minute issues that always seem to come up on Friday afternoon around 4. :P
There's no question that I'll be getting the book sometime this weekend. I just was looking forward to starting it late tonight after waiting around in line with other excited fans. I was looking forward to being part of the festivities for the last HP book. Oh well...

Just go to Borders or B&N, I can't imagine that they'd really turn you away. Just give the puppy dog eyes...if that don't work, turn on "the faucet."

I'll be taking the daughter to Wal-Mart tomorrow, had hundreds of copies of the last book on release day.

Interesting! Well, my plan of stopping at a Meijer store (kind of like a Super Wal-Mart) around midnight might work out then. :)
