Got one today at Apple Store in Santa Monica, CA. They got shipment in early afternoon. Don't believe iPhone locator. Call store and keep calling during day because shipment could come in at any time during day (though probably after 11 am).
well called my local apple store just before leaving and they sold out so had to go a at&t store 10 miles away not the nearest one picked one up surprisingly they sold out 4gig iPhones but not 8gig iPhones.

I walked in twice to an AT&T store, first time was launch day - and they had them each time. Plenty of them actually.

when i use the iPhone locater it says iPhone unavailable. I am in arizona.

If you can wait 2-4 weeks, try online @ apple

well called up my nearest apple store and they said they have them in stock seems the iPhone locater is wrong.
