Need a good laptop bag for my MacBook Pro 15.4" with space for power and extension cable, mouse, etc while not being too bulky. Suggestions?

I've used Waterfield bags for my 15.4" and now for my 17"... not the cheapest but certainly one of (if not the) best bags out there IMHO. You can find them at http://www.sfbags.com.

I agree with kirkk, I bought some bags from SFbags and they shipped directly to me here in Switzerland in 2 days!!! The quality is superb. Checkout the website, they size the bag based on your requirements. Worth every penny and the service is great.

It's not all great, it's chucking it down with rain here right now and has been all day, got the Swiss HOG Nationals this weekend, hope the weather gets better or I'll be very wet. But I have to admit, sometimes it's great to be me ;-)

I've had one of those for THREE years. I love it. When I was in high school, it held four huge textbooks, my laptop, a digital camera, an AC adaptor, a mouse, an ethernet cable, a couple video adaptors, notebooks, pens, pencils, and the included CD wallet (stuffed with discs). I'm in college and I still rely on the thing, even when flying home for summer. In the three years of casual use, the only damage it's taken is that some of the back padding is starting to wear (slightly), I've crushed one of the clips (that I never use) and a snag tore a small hole in the netting in front (but it's still very usable). Trust me, it's worth the money, and it should hold a 15" laptop easily. Especially one as thin as the MBPs.

Well, after reading around and comparing prices, I decided on the Brenthaven Fusion MB Messenger Bag... http://tinyurl.com/34arj3

Seemed like the best bang for my buck on a budget. Should be coming early next week. I'll let you guys know what I think...
