I have already reached critical mass on Microsoft. I've already determined that once this job finishes, I will be moving on to IT projects that do not involve them.
In a couple of podcasts he's mentioned his distaste in their claims of Linux violating MS patents. He said if they were to pursue this further by going after developers and end users he'd be done with them - quit covering them on the air, etc.
I'm feeling the same way... I just wish I had the cash to get a MacBook Pro or else I'd be swiping my credit card right now. Hopefully in the coming months...
Long time M$ user, recently purchased a mac...loving it!
Learning curve was about 4days and after day 6 I refused to boot up my M$ machine. I still have to get some of my data off it and blow it away, then I can turn it into a unix machine and the world will be safe once again.
btw with bootcamp/parallels who needs dedicated M$ machines?

Who isn't? I work in an M$ shop and I've had enough as well. But can I say, it's a pain in the @$$ because 90% of the world use it.
