External HD is setting itself to invisible on Restart in Leopard. Great... and there is currently no solution (other than reformat). Help?

It is a problem in Leopard (can be caused by using windows from parallels).
Open terminal and enter the following:
sudo chflags nohidden /Volumes/"NameOfDrive"
Which should fix it
