I use all three, but Jaiku is the best one all around, though if you want to be with the bigger community go with Twitter, and if you want to be with the "Hip" crowd go to Pownce.
Well, Twitter is too simple, Pownce is too cluttered, and Jaiku is a perfect mix of both, though without Twitter's community, or Pownce's "updatability" (how many times a person will update in a given day)

Pownce is all about conversations around shared files/pics/audio/video/links/events. That's their focus and USP. This is very different from jaiku and twitter that are all about 140 character text posts and status updates. Pownce is much closer to a traditional blog or tumblr blog. Much less cell phone centric. I think twitter and jaiku are competitors but pownce is more of a competitor with tumblr.

I think Jaiku is the best from the usability point of view. I also use all three, but sometimes i think it's to much ;-)

What i don't like about pownce and twitter is that they don't have groups. (And pownce doesn't have Jabber-Support)
