Ok so I haven't set up as many apps on my Mac Mini as I have on my PC and it's only 3 weeks old, but so far apps such as Photoshop CS3, SuperDuper and Sharepoints work very well. I did get a crash in Mail but it saw it and fixed it and I haven't had a problem since. Compared to the cr*p I'm still having to deal with a year on with Vista I'm reasonably impressed with Leopard.

Stupid question. Can you "upgrade" from 10.3.9 to 10.5 or do I have to do a fresh install?

You can upgrade from 10.3.9 just fine.

Not really worth the risk of bbroken apps just yet. I'll wait 6 months to make sure my important apps truly work on it.
