Godaddy's site is annoying and extremely frustrating to use, but their domain registration service is probably the best in existence. Why someone at the company can't make a simple web site design and stop trying to upsell me something 20 times during each transaction is beyond me.
Network solutions? They were the predatory company that sends out bogus renewal letters to steal registrants from other registrars. Weren't they sued for that several years ago?
We use godaddy over at Indie Radio Chattanooga,we have several domains we've registeed,cheap and easy. I got discount codes for 10% off too if you want-pod78.

Don't go with Network Solutions/Verisign. They're too expensive and at last report will still spam you. I don't get the email spam with GoDaddy (my snail mail box, on the other hand, gets lonely so I let them and Ebay spam that).
I use Go Daddy and Network Solutions. Go Daddy is the better of the two. Contrary to the advice above, Network Solutions is very much above the board - just more expensive and their management screens aren't as good.

I use namecheap, i have over 30 domains there. I like their interface. If you want a discount use the coupon "goblins".

Beware of the domain sellers that have not been around very long,or that you've never heard of. If they go away,what happens to your domain?
