Ok windows just gave the first valuation, at 96% I've got 40 minutes up from 27. It's a success. I'll try a few discharge/recharge cycles in the following days.
Froze it for 11 hours, unfroze it for 4 near a heating body. Done two discharge-recharge cycles. Then I accidentally droped a mug of coffee over it and spent a day pondering about getting a dell m1330. It works now, but the eventual benefit in time is 30 minutes or so, which is still pathetic.
Im not a chemical/batt guy, but im guessing most of the chemicals in it get used up at some point. Thats why i was curious if that freeze undid any of that.

I tried it and it didn't work, maybe I did it the wrong way. Will be curious to see how it goes for you.

It's unfrozen I plugged it in for charging some 30 minutes ago. It takes much longer than before, is at 75% now. I'll keep you posted.

So you froze it (for how long)? Then unfroze it (for how long)? Then put it in to charge (for how long)?
