Im also excited about it ... hope I have the extra money to get it when it comes out. I really wish apple would make Xcode be able to compile a .java file without having to create a project.
hey -- i'm new to mac -- quick question: since i just bought a macbook in august -- does that mean that I have "tiger" and when "leopard" is available i should upgrade?
@callyway: your macbook is running Tiger (10.4.x). Whether you should upgrade or not is up to you. Have you seen the new features listed on the Apple website? Do you need them or do you find them worth your money? If you're still not sure, why don't you visit your local Apple retailer and try it?

Tiger is still a nice OS. And your application may not be immediately compatible with leopard so you might also want to wait a little too.
