Anyone any idea if the next-gen ipods/nanos are likely to include bluetooth? pondering headphones...

A bluetooth chip capable of a2dp costs at least 20$ if you strike a mass purchase deal and its ~ a fourth of the size of the nano. They would have to a) increase the volume - which they never do, and then either up the price or retain it and admit that the product was overpriced (if indeed it is). If they are looking at a blt nano it will probably be a whole new product with file sharing. Then again Jobs has publicly said hes not fond of that + he would need new deals with the record labels for the itms, where hes said to be struggling with the 1$/track thing.
