Since the issue of slow or irregular Plazes feed aggregation has come up a few times, here is a general info-background on the topic. To start off, you will need a public Plazes profile for feeds to be aggregated. As for the speed, it is dependent on the frequency in which Jaiku aggregates the feed and is unfortunately out of our (Plazes) hands. However, there is a way around this. You can install the http://presencerouter.com, which basically pushes your feeds onto Jaiku. Hope this has been helpful.
I seem to have forgotten to mention that presence router only works on Mac, sorry about that. But, currently that would be the only alternative option that I know of which you can use to increase the frequency of aggregating your Plazes feeds on Jaiku.
