From now on, Mauku is available in Maemo Extras for Diablo and future OS releases. The Innologies Package Repository will be closed for those OS releases after a short transition period.
Latest Mauku version introduces new icons drawn by Thomas Perl. In addition, two compatible icons are from Tango Desktop Project. Thanks to them for their efforts.
the icons are looking very nice :) but the acceleration of scrolling is bad in the new version. was anything done with the scrolling-part of the application?
There should be no other changes than icons and some minor packaging related tweeks. Of course, I have some bigger going on, but that code is not yet integrated into the public release.
strange... there seems to be two finger scoll modes: 1. the one with acceleration - i'm able to scoll much screens down with only one finger tip. 2. the traditional mode - this one works like scolling in microb browser or feed reader. no chance to scroll down more than the finger moves on the touch screen.
imo in further versions i never was aware of the 2. mode... but at the moment it happens very often. does it have to do with longer posts maybe?
Yes, both "modes" have been there from the beginning. Just think that the screen is a roll: there are many ways to make that physical object rotate by touching it with your finger or hand in real world too.
