do you use wi-fi under linux? Was it hard to configure? (I've just did configured it, it was reeeeally hard :-)

all depends on the card and the type of encryption. I have netgear WG511T card that is detected right away and connects to WEP encrypted wirlessly every time. I could never get another Netgear card on with WPA.
I have some crappy wireless card that came with an old ASUS motherboard I don't have anymore. When I tried edgy I failed to get it working so gave up on Linux for a bit. When I installed hardy it just worked. Thrilled I was.

what distro are you using? NetworkManager should do it for you.

Yeah, NetworkManager makes it all embarassingly easy but some chips may have issues...
