Currently, at version 0.5 #OpenSocial is too open, i.e. buggy. ;-)

With FB getting some negative traction which it is trying to make into positive vibes & OpenSocial not fully positioned yet, do you think there is space for new players or is the market getting saturated?

What kind of players? New social networking sites?
If that's what you meant, then I'd say users are saturated. :-)
new ways for getting to federated social networks is the question i think. check #fsn and ask @ralphm 'bout that :)
