What is Gnome and KDE? which is better kubuntu or ubuntu? what is difference?

Gnome and KDE are the interface. One is very simple one is more flexible. Ubuntu and Kubuntu are the same except one uses Gnome and one uses KDE. The better one is the one that you like to use :)
There are more simple things that you can do in KDE and because they push most of the options into libraries if it works in one application then it works in all of them.
