It's cool, but they can't really follow a true conversation like Jaiku since there is no absolute link between a reply and the original post other than the original poster's username. Looks like they try, however. Must be using matching words or something.
I stand corrected, Twitter just updated the API and added a feature where based on "@reply" message, it saves the ID of the message to which they "think" the user is replying to. It's still a guess, but Twitter is doing it, so it's likely fairly accurate.
@gamgee911 What service is the best is not my point. I only want to say that Twitter is doing things to improve and Jaiku is becoming slow to release new functionality. Regards.
@israel lol I totally understand man, I was just making a joke. It is nice to see twitter evolving into more conversation based rather than a shoutboard. I wish Jaiku would show us what Google's working on (supposedly..)
The thing is...Twitter is a simple enough service and them adding new features isn't that difficult. However, they rely on 3rd parties to develop apps such as Quotable, mentioned here....@arjw: Media integration would be lovely

Media integration how. You can already pull feeds in from everywhere. The flickr feeds even show all the thumbs.
