Another possible jablet mission, one that just occurred to me on itT: I wonder if what we should do is develop a "tablet-friendly certification program" and host it on jablet.net. Then link to all the sites that qualify.
I'm glad you brought this thread up. I was thinking, thanks to my ponderings about the Chumby last night, about something for the Tablet that would allow a 'chumby mode' (obviously to be renamed) that would basically be a connected-screensaver.
So I would install Jablet on my Tablet (hehe) and then pick which I wanted to run (Flickr stream, RSS, weather, etc) and when I activated Jablet on the Tablet, it would take over the entire screen

Jablet.net could be used to host the 'widgets' and offer an on-tablet widget directory

Good points, and someone is working on Chumby-on-the tablets functionality... or was. But there's a lot of broader potential there.
