But, unfortunately, it was before I actually tried to get it all working and now, the forums have been down for a while. So, unless there's another place to access the tutorial...?
when you say your account is not working what do you mean? Your jablet jabber IM? or are you trying to pull your other IM services through? Or are you trying to be in the chat room?
Sorry for the trouble guys. Jay and I have both been pretty much out of it during the holidays. Unfortunately I'm no help on the server stuff at this point and he's on record as unavailable until after January 1. Hopefully at that point something can be figured out.
While I'm on the subject, I hope to have a new face on the website by January 6. I lost 4 days due to a bad cold (something ALWAYS hits at Christmas!) but I'm getting back in action now.
I have trouble connecting, then when it does connect, I can only see a few contacts, none of them being online. This started about a week ago. (n810, latest os)
I get the standard 'authentication failed' message. When it does connect, I see only yahoo's contacts and msn's. I use msn, google, yahoo and aim. Just a week ago they were all working correctly.
I occasionally get the authentication failed message when first connecting to an access point. I then set presence to offline and then back online and it works.
Nothing's changed on the server. All those still work for me. I would suggest you reregister with the transports. Let me know if you don't know how and I'll do it for you.

The server has not gone down at all during the holidays. I have maintained a steady connection pretty much this entire time.
What exactly are you guys seeing?

You'll need to be more precise than that. What services are you using? What errors are you seeing when connecting, etc...
