There is an occasional delay in how messages are delivered to imku (and hence processed). At some point all those messages are then dropped on imku all at once and then you see a burst of new stuff. However, while the delay is going on, everything is stalled. Investigation about the source of the delay, and how to go about fixing it, is ongoing.
