Dear ideary - what would it mean with location-aware Internet, or location-aware Jaiku to begin with?

Nowadays, the concept of the village is all but dead, and microblogging with a geographic dimension would be so interesting, items on a certain keyword within a certain area ("motorbike" within your area if you're looking for someone to ride with) or whatever... the opportunities are endless. Anyway TV and the Internet erased the importance of locality, it's time to enable it again!

Sure you can start by looking for information in lbszone.com or google maps mania, but it's not quite to the point

More players enter that game, like tuurf, brightkite and bloggy. Good thing I'm not competing with them already :-) (sorry about the reposts, I never get the link syntax right)

Am I doing something completely wrong, or why isn't Loki feeding the services (facebook, twitter etc) like it's set to do? Also, I don't understand the purpose of FireEagle in all this, maybe I should re-see the microsoft seminar blogged about above.

On a positive note - if you submit your AP to Skyhook, after a couple of days myLoki works with that location. So I'm submitting cafés and places where I sit down a little as I go along, even if that's not how Skyhook planned to improve their coverage.
