I've a fruit producing orange tree (indoors) with a greenfly problem. Is there anything I can use indoors which leaves the fruit safe to eat

IANAG but soapy water sprayed onto leaves etc is both organic, safe and reasonably effective against a lot of bugs.

If its a small tree you can just 'rub them out' gently between finger and thumb. This can be very effective ... gives a whole new meaning to 'green fingers' though.
