OSocial network is about creating a "meta" social network with data coming from different social networks with an OpenSocial implementation (today hi5, ning and orkut, and facebook with the opensocket project). To do that, with an OpenSocial application that users run in their profile, I store profiles and friends and then I can visualize relations between people, I can publish profile as FOAF and friends list with XFN microformats.
Next steps would be to make links between people over differents social networks.
