Very nice! Love the location search functionalities. It will be helpful if we can go back in time too. This can be quite interesting if we can link it up with mobile phone so essentially somebody can leave trace of where they have been by jaikuing from different locations.
I wasn't able to create a group. What is one supposed to enter in the "Jaiku nick" field: e.g. one's own Jaiku screen name or the screen names of all group members?
Sorry for the group function that might not be so easy to understand. In the Jaiku nick field you type your username, in your case jyri. In the group field, whatever you want. You are then redirected to that group page and you are in it. If the group already exists, you are added to it. You can only type in one username in the field. If you havent posted any messages recently, you might not be redirected to that group, since no location data have been collected about you. This is also the case if your location is not correctly set up. But Im working on updates. Happy you like it!

What is this group thing? We can arbitrarily create groups outside of Jaiku channels and contacts??

The group thing works outside Jaiku, so it does not interfer with your contacts or something like that. Creating groups is very simple.
