we're pretty much at the end of our rope as far as scaling goes, i've been in discussions internally as to where to proceed but things go slowly, and it seems like any path forward requires radical architecture/database restructuring
it's a lot of work and there are some major pieces of the process that i am unable to do on my own but i'm trudging along, just feels like it isn't going quickly enough :(
@termie: Since posts are down, I'm guessing that means that the scaling problems are because of comments being on the rise — I find that very cool, means lots of communication going on :)
On a sidenote, anyone know the percentages for replies versus posts on twitter?

Google is trying to get Jaiku to go bad so they can turn it into Gaiku.

And is the API down at the moment? I can refresh Jaiku via the web, but Mauku hasn't been able to refresh my overview for over 1.5 hours now.

Looks like JSON is definately down right now. JaikuBerry can't refresh, either.

Response times for me are all over the place .. but the iGoogle app gives up well before anything gets returned.

Is Jaiku listed as a service on any Google page? And if not, why? It's not beta exactly?
