That could potentially be a whole lot of status changes. I don't really want my home page flooded with "I am away from the computer" posts. Now once the servers geet there, I'd like to see moods posted

First, you would only post on status change, if the message really changes.
Second, you could always opt-out.
And yes, as soon as everybody starts using PEP, we can have lots of things posted: music, geo loc, mood, etc...
But I think that a opt-in system for status is interesting right now.

It doesn't need to list status changes. The Jaiku Mobile stuff just shows up as a helpful graphic on profiles with it enabled.

Actually I do it the other way around: my chat app picks up the new Jaiku presence and uses it as the status message.
