Astroturfer = person who gets paid to move around the web and generate positive traffic for a purpose. Among other duties is effectively maintaining multiple IDs that interact with others or with each other in a very natural way.
But don't forget, they are doing paid PR. If NomadScry is an astroturfer then I guess he'll go under the radar as soon as his persona is out of invitations.
@KCorax - So an astroturfer is kind of role-playing multiple personas? And getting paid for it. Which actually sounds pretty fun... It'd be like getting paid to let all the voices in my head out to play. Heh.
