Thanks Gariela. As far as I'm aware there are no concrete plans for Barcamps this year other than the upcoming CreativeCamp and September's Podcamp in Kilkenny. So perhaps in May, June? By the what does IDC stand for?
Hmm, I'm not sure about AugmentCamp to be honest. 'Augment' could be applied very generally, couldn't it? I think '3D', as in '3Dcamp' is a more suitable umbrella terms for the topics I'd like to see covered - virtual worlds, mirror worlds and haptics. I'm not so keen on encroaching into 'intelligence' territory, etc, as I think it would start becoming more inaccessible/academic at that stage. But that's just my opinion.

Sure @coniecto, Barcamp Limerick should be the working title. But I do like the idea of focused Barcamps like Podcamp and CreativeCamp so I just wanted to put out there the kind of focus I personally think would make for a fairly unique and interesting camp. Another way of describing what I'd like to focus on might be - 'the internet after the browser' [not that the browser is going away or anything but you what I mean....]
@coniecto@festoon, @eirpreneur, takes two! PC's that is.. but managed to stream SL out http://tinyurl.com/6bua43 this means you could project and I could do it remotely... instead of moving the machines would there be a chance of testing this at your location in UL?

Ok guys, that was just an idea... I like 3DCamp, but can't we just call it BarCamp Limerick and work on refining the formulation of the topic?!
