...or at least on 2nd. Still slightly vague on company task tagging policy

Congrats! Any plans on easy installers for lazy people like me?

Or daily tgz - package would also be nice for us who don't mind to install git or want to try to build a windows installer package :-)

About the task tagging policy. Yes task and issues tracking is cool. And also it would be cool if any task or customer related action could contain possibility to attach expenses / hours for automated reporting.

And another idea. If there is a task with estimated 8h of work. I work 3h of it and put the hours for the task, but there should also be a field about estimated hours of work left. No 90% complete but hours. It gives better metrics IMHO.

I wonder if you can build a dmg for osx that contains also the db stuff? Would that be easy/possible even? I don't have darwinports installed myself since I am not a programmer (and I'm happy with the stuff I have installed in osx so far) - so doing all that for to install the database engine is a bit of a big overhead. Thus my intial reaction was: "Sweet! (enthusiastic doubleclick) -> syntax error, wtf?!" :)) - so if that could be addressed by a bundled db without huge effort, it would be good.

@tigert there was a DMG of CouchDb 0.6, but not yet of CouchDb 0.7. I'll have to bug the couchdb devs about that...

BTW, clarified the installation instructions a bit: http://www.ajatus.info/documentation/installation/

Not to sound stupid, but is there a mention of the license Ajatus is distributed under somewhere on the site? I assume it's under GPL and that is included with the downloaded package, but...

  • bergie

@jukkar: yes, it is GPL. I guess we could say that up front :-)

Hmm maybe it would be a good idea to add an ajatus root directory to the zip file.

@bergie I didn't need to edit my couch.ini for couchdb 0.7.2, it was already ok. So I guess that can be dropped from the install instructions.
