yup. we have looked at free-floating space elevators. there is real value in one that touches neither leo OR geo, but transists between them. if i could figure out how to get russia involved with this thing, i would. i think the have an active vision for space.
Gosh, while I've been swept up in more SAS Banquet-Preparation-Panics and finishing getting over the flu (I did have a lovely escape to Seattle Opera this evening though), I see I've missed out of discussions of free-floating space elevators, potty training, and Jesus dancing in a red g-string... What can I say? I'm left speechless ;-)

Oh, that quasi-naked dancing singing Jesus guy was horrid. I think I need to burn my eyes out with a hot poker after that ;-)
