I haven't had a problem, works as a great solution for me as I have a nokia bt headset which uses the fat plug, so one charger and an adapter serves two devices.
I've been lucky with my current crystal case, my third in as many months - I really think it's a case of just getting one that fits without any stressing of the plastic. I went through 2 in no time at all, but this one seems OK so far, 2 months down the line.
I'm with ocifant £3 for one and £4.95 for the other with spare battery charging facility built in.
First crystal case broke from bashing change and stuff in my pocket but that ws one of the first UK O2 store versions. The latest from O2 was around £5.95 but is oing well. (O2 store as it was half the price of thse in my T-Mobile supplier.
I bought a couple crystal cases from Brando, but after a while of using one I just decided not to use a case at all. The clear plastic case made my N95 feel cheap. One of the best things about the N95 hardware is the sturdy feel of the slider mechanism. So I've just been going without a case, and just being pretty careful with it. I often wear zip-up fleece jackets or hoodies to work, so those pockets are pretty safe. When I do put the phone in my jeans pockets, I don't have anything else in them. Usually I'm at a desk, so I just put the N95 on the desk; makes it easier to see the screen blinking when I get a call. :)

you're joking! buy the adapter thingy and use an old (fat) charger

I've found actually that the adapter does not fit as well as the smaller real plug... seems to fall out

Mind you, the crystal case I bought at the same time for £3.95 lasted no more than 4 days...

yeah, "crystal" cases really r poor quality. The back of the one i purchased died in one day, that said the front cover still alive (all of 2wks now!)

Ah yes, I had one of those for my old 6210i - I'll get an N95 version if they ever get round to designing one!
