Just figured out a cool trick for Firefox on Ubuntu. See comments.

Go to Tools -> Add-ons and click on "Get Ubuntu Add-ons" in the lower right hand corner. Install the "Ubuntu Firefox themes" and restart. VoilĂ ! Your Firefox now has the same theme and icons as your Ubuntu desktop!
