That's hilarious! The last two time I've been in The Bank O'Dea was there so he obviously enjoys 'a few pints with the lads'. Great to see him living up to the Limerick stereotype ;-)
I've heard that garish colours can affect the rage impulse of animals. I wonder did this have any bearing on the row. Souths decor is not the same as it was ten years ago. Perhaps the desiger gear had a psychological effect on the drinkers?
I wonder what Bloggorah would have made of this..? :)
Your hypothesis could be spot on. I don't mind the odd drink in Souths but as the beer goes down the decor becomes more and more puke-ish. I certainly wouldn't like to be on 10 pints and staring at the wall.
