I had the same prob with my n95. I think it had something to do with old files on the memcard. You could try and empty that (bu first). If that doesn't work, hard reset and/or firmware again. Sorry I don't know it exactly anymore :)
After the upgrade I made a complete restore from a backup with both phone memory and memory card. I'm guessing it has something to do with old files..
After a restore like that some applications work and some are gone from the menus but still visible in the application manager - Jaiku is one of the latter.
To start over from scratch, resetting memory and card and reinstalling the firmware just too much hassle... even though it sucks not being able to use the client anymore.
At least try the memcard. Just backup photos and whatever and format it. Might help and take 10min of your time. If not, at least you've got a bu of your photos :).
Horrible feeling none of this will actually help get Jaiku app working - sorry. Never managed to get mine running and tried new cards, formatting, resetting, reinstalling - you name it I've tried it and given up
I had the same prob. More apps weren't working (like downloads). It bothered me so much I tore everything down. Bu, soft reset, hard reset, firmware reinstall and only putting back my contacts and calendar items. Because now I think of it, it went wrong because of the user settings that were put back on. It should eventualy work. Don't give up! A new phone is a waste and nothing can beat the jaiku app. Go and fixit :) (fixit fixit fixit)
me too - just updated firmware today... now getting "system error". really annoying as i've been using the mobile app non-stop for 2+ years and now... cant get it to work :(
