@steveofmaine i have unlimited texting. i don't know how that affects international texting. maybe i should call and ask. #767# doesn't work for me but #MSG# did....
@steveofmaine okay, nothing happened when i texted the international number. and i resubmitted my information and all it says is "An activation code has been sent to your mobile number at +xxxxxxxxxx (change). Check your phone for the text message, and enter the activation code in the field below." (i x'd out my #)
This is not going to be helpful to anyone, but I'm on T-Mobile, too, and I never got the activation code, either. And I don't understand what they meant by activating manually (I just skimmed this thread, so the manual procedure may have been discussed already). I'm just adding my data point.
it must be a temp issue. manual activation means you send a code to their sms number. not sure why you guys dont see the code. it used to show up after entering mobile number.
I saw that too but as it was working as late as last night, I thought that just hadn't been updated. I can still post via the number just not receiving anything. let me send on and see what happens.

check with your service provider that it accepts Finnish numbers.

Did you add the +1 before your number then try sending to 30300?

you should get it . the code will come from 30300 which is their US virtual number. Try sending your code to 30300.

If you are using t-mobile, text the international number. incoming messages come via the us number. I have that issue with t-mo.

it says if i haven't gotten it in a few minutes, i can activate text updates manually. how do i do that?

OK, after entering your mob number you should see an activation code. text that to the +46 number.

Sometimes yes. But the incoming texts come from US number so if you get charged you only will when you send out.

You can use #767# to see if you're being charged. if texts deducted from plan then you're not.

sorry #msg is what I meant. they should charge for intl sms $.15 to send but sometimes they don't charge me.

They block 30300 unless you're under contract. International +46 number still works though.

Unless you're under contract, t-mo blocks all the 5 digit short sms numbers. even google's 46645.
