Yo, Timo, watch that sarcasm, not everyone may get it :) .. Good luck with Blyk also!
Jaiku has done exemplary work in creating a global brand, as it is pretty uncommon for finnish endeavors to gain such international publicity this fast.

Highly excited when I read the Business 2.0 article, but also a tad disappointed that this doesn’t quite work on my Nokia N73 :(
I also notice it mentioned that it helped you find presence information based on cell phone tower locations. I think thats interesting, but from what I can tell (with the web interface), I’ve actually got ot enter all this manually.
And being in Australia, I hope that all the location based magic works too :-)

Teemu Says:
Colin, if you use Jaiku mobile client, it uses cell ids to get your location automatically.
Names of cell ids (\”neighbourhoods\”) are entered by Jaiku members and collectively shared by their contacts, so someone has to input neighbourhood name only once.
And to your knowledge: we are really working on just 3rd ed client now, so you will be able to join mobile fun sometime in the near future.

We would love to interview of few of your heaviest power users, and possibly the founders of Jaiku. I think the service is very cool - a sort of ‘grown up’ Twitter. We’ve done several articles on Twitter already (see www.thedailysocial.com) and there are a few more coming, and we want to focus on Jaiku in the New Year. Can you help?
